These terms cover this website and drp-post, the content publishing tool operated by Department of Recording and Power ("DRP", "we", "us"), a recording studio and record label in Glendale, California.

This website

This site is provided for information about our studio and our work. We try to keep it accurate but make no guarantee that it is complete or current, and we may change or remove anything on it at any time.

Our publishing tool (drp-post)

drp-post is DRP's content publishing tool. We use it to schedule and publish video and image content to social media accounts that DRP manages: accounts belonging to DRP and its imprints, and accounts belonging to label artists and studio clients who choose to connect them.

Connecting and disconnecting accounts

Each account holder connects their own TikTok or Instagram account through that platform's official login and consent screen. We never ask for or store anyone's TikTok or Instagram password. An account holder can disconnect at any time, either by removing DRP's access in their TikTok or Instagram app settings, or by emailing info@departmentofrecordingandpower.com.

Review and approval

Nothing is posted to a connected account unless the account holder, or a DRP manager they have authorized to act for them, has reviewed and approved the post.

Content

All content published through drp-post is created by or licensed to the holder of the account it is published to, and that account holder is responsible for holding the rights necessary to publish it.

Platform rules

When publishing through TikTok and Meta, we operate within their developer terms, community guidelines, and API terms of service. If any of those conflict with these terms, the platform's terms govern that activity.

Intellectual property

The DRP name, logo, and the material on this site belong to us, except where stated. Please ask before reusing them.

No warranty

This site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
